Meet Ava!

Ava

~ Submitted by the Page County Animal Shelter

Page Valley News highlights adoptable pets

from the Page County Animal Shelter to showcase their personality.

This is Ava!

Ava is an approximately 2-year-old, female cat. She has been spayed and updated on her vaccinations. Ava found herself at the shelter after a concerned citizen found her out and about on the street, but she is in good health and is ready to find her new home!

One thing about Ava is her peculiar coloring. Everyone who stops by is captivated by her beauty and can’t help but to compliment her. Her fur color is black, but because of how short it is and a white undercoat, it appears like a smokey, mottled, silky black color. If you look very closely, you can actually see that she has some darker tabby stripes.

Ava loves to spend time with you. She’s quiet and mellow, but is sweetly affectionate. She likes to headbutt and rub up against your leg gently, and she is more than happy to curl up in your lap.

Ava doesn’t care much for other cats initially, but with time, she has learned to peacefully coexist with our other residents and even plays with the crew.

If you’d like to meet and visit with Ava,

please send the shelter an email inquiry or call the Page County Animal Shelter at (540) 778-2101. Please keep an eye out for our email reply. Sometimes they find their way to the spam/junk folder.
