Meet our sweet boy Jaxxs!

Jaxxs is about 8 years old and full of life! He came into the shelter as an owner surrender after his previous owners could no longer care for him.

He came in looking a little rough around the edges as he’s got some scars on all his legs and fur missing around his neck from a possible collar being too tight on him. Trying to get a little weight on him as he is a little thin, but nothing too concerning.

Despite all that, Jaxxs doesn’t seem to be phased by any of it. He is a loving boy looking for someone who is willing to spend time with him and play fetch! Yes, you read that correctly, Jaxxs loves his fetch! He has lots of energy despite his age and loves to run and play when he gets the opportunity, but also loves to be next to you when he’s not playing.

Jaxxs could use some leash manners as he is a puller, but staff have noticed he is very treat driven, which would possibly make it easier to train him. Per the previous owner’s statement, Jaxxs has never been seen by a vet for anything. He is also fairly house trained as long as he gets to go out every other hour or so as he tends to not be able to hold his pee very long.

Jaxxs is looking for his fur-ever home — could it be with you?
