Page Valley News brings you one of the adoptable pets from the Page County Animal Shelter featured here to showcase their personality!
Meet Sadie!
Sadie is a 13-year-old, black, Shar-Pei mix. She was brought to the shelter under some unfortunate circumstances. Her previous owner had some difficulty finding her a new place to stay. The Page County Animal Shelter decided to look after her for them. However, Sadie is growing restless at the shelter and they think it’s best that Sadie finds a new home.
Sadie is a real sweetheart and likes to be in your company. But she can also be a little independent and likes her quiet time. She’s also a bit silly with how she likes to eat her food, as she prefers to not eat from a bowl.
She’s a bit slower than the young ones, but she still loves to trot around in the yard. Her eyesight is starting to cloud up, but she can get around without any problems. Sadie would prefer a home to herself now that she’s gotten accustomed to having her own room. This girl is also a big fan of any treats you give her!
Sadie would love to stretch her wings and come home with you! If you’d be interested in meeting Sadie, call the Page County Animal Shelter at (540)-778-2101!
