Page Valley News brings you one of the adoptable pets from the Page County Animal Shelter featured here to showcase their personality!
Scooter is 8 years old, neutered, and up to date on vaccinations.
Scooter would make a great companion in a quiet, childless, no animal home. We don’t have much of a background on his home life before the shelter, but he is a very independent dog who doesn’t mind getting some attention. Otherwise is very content to be by himself!
If you are sitting in the backyard with him, he likes to come over and sit at your feet and get loves and scratches. Scooter walks well on a leash and loves to go for rides in the car!
When outside, Scooter needs supervision as he can easily scale a 6 foot tall fence or will dig underneath of it. Scooter would love to go home with you and lay with you all day!
We have deemed it best and safest for his future home to have no children or animals as he is on his best behavior when he is by himself.
Scooter is Lyme positive which the vet has deemed him nonclinical, which means he has not shown any symptoms. Lyme positive dogs can lead happy, healthy lives with no issue. If you have more questions on Lyme Disease, ask your vet for more information if you were interested in adopting a Lyme positive dog!
If you would like more information on Scooter, please give us a call to ask for an application!
