from the Page County Animal Shelter to showcase their personality.

This is Sparky!

Sparky came to the shelter by animal control after removing him from a not-so-ideal living situation. Now that Sparky has been with the shelter for a little bit, he is now ready for his new forever home!

Sparky is a puppy approximately 8 to 9 months old and needs a lot of training. He loves to jump, nip and is not house trained, so he would need someone that has the time and patience to work with him and train him. He loves toys, but is not recommended to have soft plush toys unless you want to clean the snowy mess he leaves behind. Any strong toys such as a Kong would work with him as he hasn’t chewed one of those up.

Sparky is a good puppy, but again needs a lot of work to him. He is affectionate and will love you to death. He loves to be wide open in the yard to play, but can be rough when too excited and his nips can hurt at times.

Sparky needs someone who is experienced and or knowledgeable on puppies and able to stand his bites when he gets a little too hyper.

If you’d like to visit with Sparky,

please send the shelter an email inquiry or call the Page County Animal Shelter at (540) 778-2101. Please keep an eye out for our email reply. Sometimes they find their way to the spam/junk folder.
