This crazy girl is Zena!
Zena is an approximately 2-year-old Lab mix. She was brought into the shelter along with her pal Zeus after their owner had passed away.
Zena and Zeus were both outside dogs until they were brought to the shelter. Despite that, they are fairly well potty trained, but there’s still room for improvement. They do still have accidents overnight.
It appears that Zena may have a fear of men. Staff are not sure why, but she seems to have issues with those who have short hair, glasses, and hats. This is a recent discovery, so they’re not certain if it’s just a passing instance or something more long term.
Zena is fairly high energy and is in the process of learning not to jump on everyone she sees. And she has plenty of love to give! She absolutely craves attention and is happy to just lay at your feet! Whenever the staff first come in, in the mornings, she gets a little anxious because she is just so happy to see somebody!
