Alan Earl Long, 64, of Luray, passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2025.
Born on June 7, 1960 in Luray, Alan was a lifelong member of the community who was dearly loved and respected by everyone who knew him.
He was the beloved father of two daughters, Jennifer Long and Amanda Long; three sons, Jason Long, Benjamin Long, and Edward Long; brother to Teresa Pyne; and grandfather to Matthew Long.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Earl Long and Gwendolyn June Monger Long, and a brother, David Long.
He believed in the value of hard honest work, being a true friend, and providing help and support to his community.
Alan was a cornerstone to his family and will be dearly missed.
Services are planned for a later date.
Arrangements are being handled by The Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, Va.
