Allen Craig Young

Age 86, McGaheysville, Va.

Allen Craig Young, 86, of McGaheysville, passed away on Monday, April 29, 2024.

He was born on April 21, 1938, in Flora, Indiana, and was a son of the late Fred C. Young and Charlena P. Catron Young.

Allen had worked as an exterior designer for General Motors and was a veteran of the Michigan National Guard.

On December 28, 1964, he married Katherine Chapman Young, who survives.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Young. 

A private graveside service will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to any animal wildlife program in his memory.
