September 10, 1961 — A Goodyear store, known as the “Car and Home Store,” will open soon in the Foltz building on Main Street in Stanley, which formerly housed the Westinghouse and Maytag products owned and operated by the late Claude D. Foltz. A full line of Goodyear products will be handled, such as tires, tubes, batteries, toys, guns, ammunition, G.E. appliances many other household appliances. The store will be operated by Louis B. Royston, better known as “Lou.”
