Brenda Gayle Dean Chumley, 67, of Stanley, passed away on Wednesday November 8, 2023.
She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and was a member of the Luray congregation.
She was born on April 7, 1956, in Elkton, VA. She was the daughter of Hilda Lawson Tripp of Georgia and the late Robert Dean of Virginia.
She is survived by two daughters, Melissa Gayle Mathews of Charlottesville, VA, and Tracey Christine Wilson of Rincon, GA. Also surviving are her siblings, Barbara Warlitner, Lisa Hurst, Lana Dean, Bobby Dean, and Marsha Pinson, all of Georgia, and Katie Dean and James Dean, both of Virginia; her grandchildren, Nicole Dunwody of Virginia, Ryan Restivo of Georgia, Brianna Mathews of Florida, Caleb Alger of Virginia, Evan Wilson of Georgia, Ashton Wilson of Georgia, and Joel Beahm of Virginia; and two great-grandchildren, Dawson Feichtner and Lottie Restivo, both of Georgia.
Services are planned for a later date.
Arrangements are being handled by The Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, Va.
