Jan. 9, 1967 — It is announced this week that Barrett R. Bryant, 29, formerly of Danville, has purchased the Hisey Pharmacy at Shenandoah from Mrs. Jean C. Bodell and is operating the business under the name of Shenandoah Pharmacy. Bryant was manager of the Patterson Drug Store in Danville. He is a graduate of Petersburg High School and served the next two years with the U.S. Marine Corps after which he enrolled in the School of Pharmacy at the Medical College of Virginia graduating in 1959.
