Fall Sports Tryouts 2024
ATHLETES MUST HAVE A PHYSICAL COMPLETED AND ON FILE BEFORE AUGUST 1, 2024
Luray High School is once again using FinalForms again this year. FinalForms are available on the Luray HS website (https://www.pagecounty.k12.va.us/o/luray-hs). The link is located under the Athletics Information tab. LHS asks that ALL parents of athletes use FinalForms.
Cheerleading
• Sideline – Thursday, August 1 at Springfield Elementary, 5:30-7 p.m.
• Competition – Monday, August 5 at Springfield, 6-8 p.m.
Varsity Cross Country- Monday, Aug. 5, 7-8:45 a.m.
• Monday-Luray HS
• Tuesday-Luray HS
• Wednesday-Luray HS
• Thursday-TBD weekly
• Friday-TBD weekly
Volleyball-JV and Varsity
• Tryouts Monday and Tuesday, August 5 and August 6 at Luray HS
Golf – Luray Caverns Country Club – Try-Out Practices
• Monday-Tuesday, July 29-30, 5-7 p.m.
• Wednesday, July 31, 4-6 p.m.
• Thursday, August 1, 5-7 p.m.
Mandatory Practices
• Monday, August 5, 5-7:30 p.m.
• Thursday, August 8, 5-7:30 pm
Football -JV and Varsity
• First Practice – Thursday, August 1, 5-8:30 p.m.
• Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday, July 29-31, 5-7 p.m. – Helmets and practice packs available.
• Practice Packs will be $50 and include a t-shirt, shorts, dress polo and mouthpiece.
Athletic Fee is $25 for ALL athletes. The fee is good for the entire school year.
MANDATORY Athletic Handbook meeting for Fall athletes and parents is Thursday August 8 at 6:30 p.m. in the Luray HS auditorium. Parent team meetings will follow.
Fall Athletic Picture Day is Wednesday August 14, 2024 beginning at 3:45 p.m.
