LURAY, Feb. 27 — Three Bulldogs earned All-Region 2B honors in boys basketball. Madison’s Bryce Breeden was named the region’s Player of the Year. The Mountaineers lost to Luray, 51-48, in a region semifinal on Friday. Luray captured the Region 2B title by winning the championship game Saturday night at Shenandoah University, 50-40, over Clarke.

Quarterfinals ~ Tuesday, Feb. 27
- Region A champion John Marshall (22-3) v. Region B runner-up Clarke (18-7)
- Region B champion Luray (18-7) v. Region A runner-up Bruton (18-7) — 7 p.m. at LHS
- Region C champion Gretna (16-9) v. Region D runner-up Graham (17-8)
- Region D champion Virginia High (21-5) v. Region C runner-up Martinsville (17-9)
Semifinals ~ Friday, March 1 at neutral location – TBD
VHSL Class 2 State Championship ~ 2:30 p.m. Thursday, March 7 at VCU’s Siegel Center
