Carl Whited, 58, of Luray, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, September 7, 2025.
Carl was born on January 28, 1967, and was a son of the late Mary Rebecca and Carl Whited.
He married his soul mate and best friend, JoAnn Crites Whited, on July 27, 2012. He also leaves behind siblings Cindy and Phil Martin of Alabama, Sandra Delauter of Maryland, Wayne Whited of Maryland, Robert and Brenda McDaniel of Florida, and Benny and Michelle Rowland of Kentucky.
He is preceded in death by one brother, Jay Whited, and one sister, Annette McDaniel.
Carl also had many nieces and nephews, whom he loved dearly. His favorite people in the world were his sister-in-law Linda Crites, and Travis and Kristy Burton.
Carl never knew a stranger and loved with his whole heart. He always welcomed everyone with a smile and left with a hug. He was loved by so many and will be missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to the Bradley Funeral Home to help the family with expenses.
