Delores Estelle Bundy Trammell

Age 89, Luray, Va.

Another angel, Delores Estelle Bundy Trammell, 89, passed away on June 26, 2024, in Harrisonburg, VA.

Delores was born on June 3, 1935, to the late William Edward and Maude Virginia Johnson Bundy of Luray, VA. She was also preceded in death by five siblings, Harry E., William, Earl C., Norma Jean and Floyd Bundy; and two grandsons, Christopher Webster and Tarus Grace.

Delores grew up in Page County, attending school and raising her family. 

She leaves behind four children, Shelia Webster (Archie), Robert E., Yvette Grace, and Lisa Dennis (Ernest); five grandchildren, Chasity, Donyella, Tameka, Rochelle and Sam; and 11 great-grandchildren. 

Her parents taught her the love of family and helping others. When God called her name, Delores knew her race was done.

God saw the road was getting rough.

The hills were hard to climb.

He gently closed those loving eyes and whispered “Peace Be Thine.”

The weary hours, the days of pain,

The ever patient worn out frame has found sweet rest at last. ~The Family

A memorial service is being planned.
