Earmon Leo Lam, 78, of Luray, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, November 7, 2024.

He was born on April 27, 1946, in Page County and was the son of the late Leaty and Gracie Lam.

Earmon worked at the Elkton Garment Company until their closure and retired from VF Jeanswear.

Earmon was a devoted father and grandfather. He was a quiet man who lived a simple life. He was best known for his humble demeanor, his kind heart, and his generosity to anyone in need.

Earmon is survived by his daughter, Lesa Lowery and husband Timmy; his grandson, Adam Owens and wife Andrea; and his former wife and devoted friend, Sue Ann Gibson.

He was preceded in death by four brothers, Joseph Lam, Connie Lam, Jerry Lam and Garland Lam; and two sisters, Alpha Lam and Betty Lam. 

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, November 12, at the Bradley Funeral Home by Pastor Jeff Lucas, with visitation one hour prior to the service, from 1 to 2 p.m.

Burial will be private at Beahm’s Chapel Cemetery in Luray.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Blue Ridge Hospice, with special recognition to the compassionate members of Team 5.

“We will be eternally grateful for their support.”
