Eddie Wayne Bowling, 56, of Elkton, Virginia, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2026 at his home. He was born July 2, 1969, in Beckley, West Va. and was the son of Diana Prince Bowling and the late Gary Wayne Bowling.
Eddie graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in Beckley. He was employed as an LPN while working in Charleston, West Va., Charlotte, N.C. and most recently the Charlottesville area. Eddie enjoyed the beach and riding bikes. He loved music, movies and taking care of his plants.
In addition to his mother, Eddie is survived by his brother, Melvin Bowling and wife, Jennifer of Shenandoah, and two nephews, Logan Bowling and Dalton Bowling. Also surviving are many extended family including aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
Arrangements are being handled by the Kyger Funeral Home in Elkton, Va.
