Elizabeth Ann “Liz” Hitt, 50, of Stanley, Virginia passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at home.
Born on June 1, 1974, in Harrisonburg, Virginia, Liz was the daughter of Melvin Hitt and Margaret Moore of Stanley, Virginia.
Surviving Liz in addition to her parents are a daughter, Jessica Painter and husband ,Matthew; a son, Aaron Hart and wife, Olivia; three sisters, Bobbie Jo Lucas Jenkins and husband ,Tommy, Rebecca Mitchell and husband, Terry, and Crystal Campbell; two brothers, Scottie Shortridge and Andy Hitt; a step-brother ,TJ Banach; and five grandchildren, Savannah Hutcherson, Kiersten Hutcherson, Ellayna Hutcherson, Adalynn Hart, and Kohen Hart.
A memorial service will be held 6 pm, Friday, February 21, 2025 at Riverview Independent Gospel Church, 259 Wampler Dr, Stanley, Va.
Arrangements are being handled by the Lindsey-Kyger Funeral Home in Shenandoah, Va.
