Emily Gertrude Lillard Cliborne, 85, of Luray, passed away on Friday, February 14, 2025.
She was born on March 8, 1939, in Madison, VA, and was a daughter of the late James Thomas Lillard and Ethel Lillian Mitchell Lillard.
On April 7, 1968, Emily married Thomas Cliborne, who survives.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Rufus Vernon Lillard, James Willie Lillard, Marvin Wade Lillard and Vaden Lillard; and two sisters, Ruth Pingley and Margaret Sisk.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, February 17, at the Beahm’s Chapel Church in Luray.
A funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, February 18, at the church by Pastor Mike Propes. Burial will be in the Bethsaida United Methodist Church in Brightwood, VA.
Arrangements are being handled by The Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, Va.
