STANLEY — The Page County Extension Office will offer a Beef Quality Assurance Certification class on Saturday, Nov. 15. During this class participants will learn about best management practices, herd health, and animal stewardship. The class will begin at 9 a.m. and conclude around noon. The first part of the class will be spent at the Extension Office, and the second half will be held chute-side at a local farm.
Registration is required by Wednesday, Nov. 12. Space is limited.
Virginia Cooperative Extension is a partnership of Virginia Tech, Virginia State University, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), and local governments.
