Three local players earn All-District honors in Bull Run volleyball

LURAY, Nov. 1 — Luray High School junior Reese Fitton earned first team All-District honors in volleyball announced Thursday evening in Berryville following the Bull Run championship.

The Eagles of Clarke County (20-3) won the district title, 3-1, over second-seeded Central on Halloween night. Clarke also won the regular season title as well, with Central coming in second. Luray (11-11) finished the regular season in a tie for fourth place with Rapp.

Allie Lynch of Clarke County was named the Bull Run District Player of the Year.

Second team All-District honors went to Luray senior Caydence Cave and Page County junior Addy Wyant.

  • No. 7 Riverheads (7-13) @ No. 2 Clarke (19-3) — 6 p.m.
  • No. 6 Luray (11-11) @ No. 3 Central (16-4) — 7 p.m.
  • No. 5 Buckingham (10-8) @ No. 4 Madison (18-4) — 6 p.m.
