PCHS senior returns to Bryce Resort for Region 2B tournament Sept. 29

BAYSE, Sept. 22  — Page County High School senior Logan Foster shot a 79 at last Monday’s Bull Run District Golf Tournament at Bryce Resort in Shenandoah County. Foster tied for the Bull Run’s No. 2 spot with Strasburg’s Ella Mochoruk, who also carded a 79 on the day.

Individual medalists honors were shared between Stonewall Jackson’s Aiden Springer and Clarke County’s Jonah Ziercher, who both finished with a tournament-low 78.

Strasburg won the tournament team title with a total score of 320, some 25 strokes over second-place Clarke County.

Page County junior Grayson Vaughan recorded an 87 over 18 holes during the district tournament.

Both Foster and Vaughan advanced to the Region 2B Golf Tournament set for Monday, Sept. 29, once again at Bryce Resort in Bayse.
