Franklin Roosevelt Campbell, 85, of Elkton, VA passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at his home surrounded by family.
He was born on March 20, 1940 in Shenandoah, VA and was a son of the late Jesse Campbell and Mamie Breeden Campbell.
Franklin worked for Walker Manufacturing and Distribution for 47 years as a power trucker.
On June 24, 1960, he married the former Shirley Davis, who survives. Their marriage of 65 years rewarded them with two sons, Jeff Lynn Campbell (Janet) and Kevin Scott Campbell (Krista).
He is also survived by one step-granddaughter, Whitney Pesce (Joey); three step great-grandchildren, Bentley, Kalli and Lucca; sisters, Mary Comer of Shenandoah and Brenda Hilliards of Stanley.
A funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m., on Friday, March 13, 2026, at the Eastlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel.
Arrangements are being handled by the Kyger Funeral Home in Elkton, Va.
