George “Bud” Milgrim Jr., 88, of Luray, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025.
He was born on May 18, 1937, in Wakenva, VA, and was a son of the late George Milgrim and Minnie Jane Castle Milgrim.
In August 1955, George married Shirley Jean Compton Milgrim, who died on April 6, 2023.
He is survived by three sons, George Milgrim III of Kauai, Hawaii, Michael Milgrim of Edinburg, VA, and Jamie Milgrim of Charles Town, WV; a daughter, Jeanette Milgrim of Quicksburg, VA; a sister, Jackie Martin of St. Paul, VA; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Buddy Milgrim and Steve Milgrim.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Friday, August 15, at the Beahm’s Chapel Church by Pastor Mike Propes.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 16, at Temple Hill Cemetery in Castlewood, VA.
Arrangements are being handled by The Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, Va.
