Glendon Alfred Richards

Age 86, Luray, Va.

Glendon Alfred Richards, 86, of Luray, passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at Skyview Springs Nursing and Rehab.

He was born on May 27, 1938, in Luray and was a son of the late Carl E. Richards and Virginia Richards.

Glendon was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked at Avtex for 27 years and for Banta Printing Company for 12 years.

On October 26, 1997, he married Mary Sue Richards, who survives.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Christa Lee Carrington and Glenda “Jo” Cubbage; and two sons, Mark Richards and Todd Lilly.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruby Anne Norton and Audrey Sedwick; and a brother, Norris Richards.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 7, at the Bradley Funeral Home.
