Glenna M. Housden, 83, of Stanley, passed away on Friday, July 7, 2023, at Winchester Medical Center.
She was born on December 19, 1939, in Luray and was a daughter of the late Marvin Edward Chrisman and Ruby Naomi Chrisman.
Glenna worked as a seamstress for Blue Bell, now Wrangler.
She married Johnie Housden, who survives.
Surviving in addition to her husband of 61 years are two sons, Christopher Housden and wife Donna of Luray, and Steven Housden and wife Terry of Shenandoah; five brothers, Edward G. Chrisman of Front Royal, Jerry W. Chrisman of Luray, Marvin E. Chrisman Jr. of Frederick, MD, Thomas A. Chrisman of Staunton, and Winifred J. Chrisman of Stanley; five sisters, Shirley C. Chrisman and Alice C. Short, both of Luray, Phyllis E. Good and Dorothy W. Van Hyning, both of Shenandoah, and Barbara A. Shuler of Verona; and two grandchildren, Christopher Housden Jr. and Britney Housden.
Services are planned for a later date.
Arrangements are being handled by The Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, Va.
