Grayson Franklin Comer, Sr., 83, passed away on Monday, April 7, 2025.
Grayson was born May 28, 1941, in Shenandoah, VA to the late Gilbert F. and Frances Lee (Painter) Comer.
Grayson graduated from Shenandoah High School in 1959 and attended a Design and Drafting School in Danville, VA.
Grayson married Elizabeth Cover Gray on March 21, 1962. The two were each other’s lifelong companions, just reaching their 63rd anniversary. They were blessed with one child, Grayson “JR”.
In 1985, Grayson started his own business, Creative Fabrication, Inc., specializing in metal fabrication and machining. The business, just reaching it’s 40th year anniversary, was Grayson’s greatest accomplishment and his pride and joy.
Grayson is survived by his wife, Elizabeth G. Comer, a son, Grayson (Jennifer) Comer, Jr., a granddaughter, Emily (Chris) Hagreen, and a great-granddaughter, Carrie Addilyn.
