Greetings from Yogi

June 11, 1987 — Grand opening festivities were held Sunday at Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park campground — formerly Mountain Manor Campground — on U.S. 211 east of Luray. Yogi joined a ribbon-cutting ceremony with Jim Lovejoy, chief executive officer of Leisure Systems Inc., parent company of the park franchise. The campground recently was honored as the Luray area’s most improved business property from the Page County Chamber of Commerce.
