Hamburg happenings

HISTORY-Lee highway builders

January 28, 1911 — A mad dog passed through our town one day recently and snapped several times at Miss Mabel Ruffner while on her way to school. The dog fortunately was driven off by several of the school boys before doing her any harm. He was afterwards seen at the White House, later on at Leaksville, and finally lost sight of altogether at Alma.

Mrs. B.C. Strickler, of Hamburg, is considerably “under the weather” with the grip.

Active preparations are being made for the installation of electric lights on Mill Creek.
