HARRISONBURG, Dec. 14 — Page County High School senior wrestler Jordan Hedrick narrowly missed capturing the title at 190 pounds in the Harrisonburg High School Wrestling Invitational on Saturday. His runner-up, second-place finish was admirable considering the field was full of 3A and 4A competition.
The Panthers finished seventh as a team, which again is admirable considering that Page County’s wrestling program is still relatively new. Two other Panthers also medaled (Top 3) at the tournament.
Next up, the Panthers travel to the Turner Ashby High School Wrestling Invitational Friday and Saturday, Dec 20-21.
