Helen Louise Turner Rosser, 79, of Elkton, passed away January 2, 2026 at her home. Mrs. Rosser was born September 2, 1946 in Rockingham County to the late Calvin C. and Ethel Louise Michael Turner.
Mrs. Rosser grew up near Elkton and attended Elkton High School. She was a member of the Church of Solsburg and enjoyed gardening, canning and traveling to North Carolina to visit relatives. She retired from Genie Company in Shenandoah after 33 years of service.
Mrs. Rosser is survived by her husband, James E. Rosser; a brother, Winston Turner and wife, Becky; step-children, Kenny Rosser & wife, Angie, Jimmy Rosser, Dwayne Rosser Sr. & wife, Tina, Marsha Rosser & husband, Shane; seven step-grandchildren; eleven step-great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Johnny Turner, Earl Turner, Charles Turner, Owen Turner; sisters, Betty Moubray & husband, Carroll, Ellen Flynn, Linda Sue Turner; step-great-granddaughter, Lakelynn Loraine White.
Rev. David Burrell will conduct the funeral service 2 p.m., Thursday January 8, 2026 at the Kyger Funeral Home Chapel in Elkton. Burial will follow at Cross Keys Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
