Hunter Jerome “Jerry” Beahm, 88, of Luray, passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2023, at Commonwealth Assisted Living in Front Royal.
He was born on December 5, 1934, in Luray and was a son of the late Claude Haley Beahm and Vivian Josephine Beahm.
Jerry was a veteran of the United States Army. He retired from Campbell’s Plumbing in Luray, with 50 years of service, and was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
On May 15, 1965, Jerry married Alice Mae Biller Beahm, who survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Jerri Liane Beahm of Luray, and Jennifer Susan Hoy and husband Jason Lee Hoy of Whitehall, PA; a brother, Benjamin Jason Beahm of Timberville; a sister, Cynthia Karen Erb of Altavista; six grandchildren, Hannah Rebekah, Rachel Kathryn, Sarah Elizabeth, Lydia Grace and Joshua David Hoy, and Hunter Jakob Beahm; and three great-grandchildren, Alyssa Marie, Tinley Mae and Keigun Liann.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Donald Kent, Norman Giles and Victor Claude Beahm; a sister, Elizabeth Josephine Beahm; and a great-grandson, Waylon Remington.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, November 7, at the Bradley Funeral Home by Pastor Jason Hoy, with visitation one hour prior to the service, from 1 to 2 p.m. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Luray, with military honors by the VFW Comer-Jones Post 621 and the American Legion Post in Luray.
