Invited to play in New York

January 31, 1961 — Charles Chapman, carillonneur of the Luray Singing Tower, has been invited to give carillon recitals at St. Thomas Church, Fifth Avenue, New York City, in March and at Riverside Church, New York, during the month of August. These are two of the most famous churches in New York. Riverside Church has the largest carillon in the world.
