James Bruce Alger

Age 65, Luray, Va.

James Bruce Alger, 65, of Luray, passed away on Friday, May 31, 2024.

He was born on March 25, 1959, in Harrisonburg and was a son of the late James Abraham Alger and Betty Jane Hilliard Alger.

James worked in overnight maintenance at Walmart for about 10 years and also worked many years at Wrangler in Luray.

He is survived by his partner, Kerry Broyles of Luray; a brother, Guy Lynwood Alger of Luray; and a sister, Joan Cathy Sowers of Luray.

A private service will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with expenses.
