Age 92, Stanley, Va.
James Franklin Meadows, 92, of Stanley, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at Skyview Springs Nursing and Rehab in Luray.
He was born on January 16, 1934, in Stanley and was a son of the late Fred William Meadows and Fairy Ella Offenbacker Meadows.
James was a member of the Church of Christ in Luray.
His wife, Lois Jean Parks Meadows, died on February 20, 2005.
James is survived by two sisters, Janet Judd of South Carolina, and Ruby Gray of Norfolk. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Aline Baker and Alma Woodward.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 27, at the Thomas Cemetery on Tanner’s Ridge by Pastor Charles Roach.
Arrangements are being handled by the Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, Va.
