JMU welcomes local transfers and local members of Class of 2029

HARRISONBURG, Sept. 2 — James Madison University is excited to welcome new transfer students from Page County to campus in fall 2025. The incoming transfers represent an accomplished, diverse group of individuals who hail from 17 states, the District of Columbia and three countries.

Page County transfers to JMU this fall include:

  • Timmothey Sellers of Stanley, who is majoring in Anthropology – BS.
  • Addison Thomas of Luray, who is majoring in Business Management – BBA.
  • Leahnesse Warrick of Luray, who is majoring in Geography – BA.
  • Emily Martin of Luray, who is majoring in Individualized Study – BIS.
  • Britany Foltz of Stanley, who is majoring in Individualized Study – BIS.
  • Victoria Groves of Stanley, who is majoring in Middle Grades Education – BS.

JMU is also excited to welcome Page County students who are joining the Class of 2029. The incoming freshman class represents an accomplished, diverse group of individuals who hail from 32 states, the District of Columbia and 20 countries.

Page County students entering JMU this fall as freshman include:

  • Laurel Webb of Luray, who is majoring in Biology – BS.
  • Hayden Campbell of Luray, who is majoring in Chemistry – BS.
  • Madison Wadas of Luray, who is majoring in Hospitality Management – BS.
  • Katelyn Taglauer of Luray, who is majoring in Media Arts and Design – BS.
  • Hannah Thomas of Shenandoah, who is majoring in Health Sciences – BS.
  • Victoriann Buracker of Stanley, who is majoring in Inclusive Early Childhood Education – BS.
