Age 80, Stanley, Va.

Judith Arlene “Judy” Good, 80, of Stanley, was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 28, 2025.

She was born on April 20, 1944, in Luray and was the daughter of the late Robert Clyde Bradley and Leoma Irene Hoak Bradley.

Judy will be fondly remembered by her acquaintances for her contagious laughter and remarkable empathy towards others, always ready to assist those in need. She had an exceptional talent for uplifting those around her, leaving a lasting impact on all who crossed her path.

Her life was profoundly influenced by her faith in Jesus, following the principles of the Holy Bible and was a member of Bethlehem Church. Judy was many wonderful things to those around her. To her family, she was not only a cherished mother but also a trusted confidante, best friend, listening ear, and a devout Christian who instilled in her family the values of love, honor, and service to God.

Judy was a bus driver for Page County Public Schools, retiring with 40 years of service. She was a dedicated bus driver who demonstrated both strictness and sternness, instilling valuable life lessons in the children. Despite her firm approach, she had a soft spot for them and was affectionately regarded by the kids. She drove multiple generations of children including their parents and grandparents alike.

On February 8, 1960, she married Junior Eugene Seastrom, who passed away on October 18, 1966. On August 5, 1967, Judith married Kenneth Eugene Good, who died on January 14, 2011.

She is survived by a son, Kenneth Seastrom (Erin) of Harrisonburg; three daughters, Donna Wilson (Larry) and Kathy Jenkins (Danny), both of Stanley, and Sherri Embrey (Eddie) of Luray; a stepdaughter, Terri Clark (Ricky) of Luray; two brothers, Bobby Carlton Bradley and Cletus Melvin Bradley, both of Luray; a sister, Sandra Kay Painter of Stanley; fifteen grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Randolph Seastrom; and four brothers, James Leroy Hoak, Gerald Page Bradley, Larry Steve Bradley and Douglas Clyde Bradley.

The family expresses their gratitude to Hawksbill Assisted Living for their compassionate and attentive caregiving provided to our mother. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to the Hospice team for their exceptional care in assisting with her peaceful transition to her eternal home.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 31, at Bethlehem Church by Pastor Andy Seastrom, with visitation one hour prior to the service, from 1 to 2 p.m. Burial will be in the Beahm’s Chapel Cemetery in Luray.
