Age 43, Rileyville, Va.
Karen Michelle Tobin Bauserman, 43, of Rileyville, passed away on Monday, November 10, 2025, at Winchester Medical Center.
She was born on June 20, 1982, in Front Royal and was a daughter of Kent and Sue B. Tobin of Luray.
On September 21, 2019, Karen married Terry Wayne Bauserman, who survives.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Karen is survived by two stepdaughters, Kimberly Bauserman of Fort Valley, and Keira Bauserman of Mount Jackson; a stepson, Daniel Bauserman of Fort Valley; a sister, Tonya Turkiewicz and husband Rob of Luray; a step grandson, Logan Kirby of Fort Valley; a niece, Ryvanna Turkiewicz of Luray; and a great niece, Cyndel Turkiewicz of Luray.
Karen was the life of the party and always had a huge smile that many said would light up the room. She had a heart of gold.
Karen served as secretary of the Rileyville Ruritans and served as secretary of the Luray Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary for many years. She also coached numerous teams for the Special Olympics.
Karen was an aunt to many many “kids,” a sista, and a friend.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, November 13, at the Bradley Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 14, at the funeral home by Pastor Jordan Deane and Pastor Matt Caton. Burial will be in the Morning Star Lutheran Cemetery in Luray.
Memorial contributions may be made to Shen-Paco or to the Special Olympics.
