Kite wins again

September 2, 1990 — Jim Kite Jr. of Wolftown repeated himself Saturday. For the second year in a row, he topped the championship flight of the Luray Rotary Invitational Golf Tournament played over 36 holes Friday and Saturday at the Caverns Country Club championship course west of Luray. Kite shot a 74-73-147, five strokes higher than his 1989 mark. Ashby Downer of Luray was runner-up in the flight with a 73-77-150.
