Laurel Jay Borden, 11, of Luray, VA, passed away on November 14, 2025.
She was born on December 1, 2013, in Williamsburg, VA.
Laurel was a sixth-grade student at Luray Middle School. She was loving, helpful, adventurous, creative and caring. She loved dance, K-Pop, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Jessica C. Wood; her grandfathers, Jay R. Wood and Paul R. Perry; and her great-grandparents, Nancy P. Wood, Robert A. Borden, Helen Howard and Paul E. Perry.
Laurel is survived by her father, Travis R. Borden and fiancée Kimberly Smith; her siblings, Lily A. Borden, Lacey R. Jordan, Lawson A. Jordan, Tristan C. Borden and Samantha J. Busching; her grandparents, Rachel L. Borden, Jack Grimmett, and Steve and Amanda Smith; her great-grandparents, James R. Wood and Diane L. Borden; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Laurel’s beautiful spirit will continue to live on forever in all of the lives she touched.
Arrangements are being handled by The Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, Va.
