HISTORY-Lee highway builders

January 21, 1911 — Mr. J.D. Burner’s implement house was wrecked by the windstorm Monday night. His binder, plows and other implements were badly smashed, besides other damage done. Mr. Burner, of course, regrets his loss, but says that when the velocity of the wind is taken into account he considers himself fortunate. 

Mr. Luther Sours is suffering from a severe case of erysipelas, causing him quite a lot of suffering. 

There is to be a spelling bee at Mud Pike school house Thursday night. 

Mr. M.V. Painter, whose illness has been mentioned heretofore, is growing worse. He has dropsy.
