Ehlers stepping down after 36 years with PCPS

LURAY, Feb. 18 ― The Chief Financial Officer for Page County Public Schools will soon become the new Athletic Director for Luray High School. At the end of the 2024-25 school year, Patty Secrist will be replacing longtime AD Don Ehlers, who is retiring after 36 years of service to the school division.

“PCPS is grateful to Mr. Ehlers for his dedicated work over the years and wishes him all the best in his retirement,” reads a statement from PCPS.

Secrist enters the position with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Emory & Henry College and will complete her Master’s in School Business Leadership from Wilkes University in May of 2025.
