Lorrie Rae Dean Beasley, 47, of Shenandoah, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, June 17, 2025 in Rockingham County. She was born September 24, 1977 in Harrisonburg and was the daughter of Clyde Dean and Wanda Lucas Dean.
Lorrie was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Albert Lucas and wife, Loveina; paternal grandparents, Weldon Dean and wife, Shirley and Elizabeth Wyant; special uncles, Leon Lucas and Alvin Lucas.
Lorrie loved music, singing and she loved to draw. She loved spending time with family and friends. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her son, Cody Beasley and girlfriend, Matilda Murphy; sister, Valerie Atkins; uncles, Orville Lucas and Vincent Lucas and wife, Carolyn Sue, Samuel Dean and wife, Liz, Eddie Dean and wife, Diane; aunt, Yvonne Dean; niece, Brianna Waters and husband, David, nephew, Corben Atkins; great-niece, Paisley Waters and great-nephew, Deacon Waters; and numerous cousins and extended family.
A Visitation will be conducted 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, June 23, 2025 at Kyger Funeral Home in Elkton. Burial will be private.
