Luray man injured in front of Mick or Mack

December 31, 1965 — George Chase Campbell, 50, of Luray, suffered serious injuries here Tuesday evening about 5:45 when he was struck by an auto as he was attempting to cross West Main Street in front of the Mick or Mack Store. Campbell was taken to the Page Memorial Hospital in a Bradley ambulance. Dr. Walter E. Schlabach said he suffered two fractures of the left leg, several fractures of the pelvic bone and internal injuries. His condition yesterday was described as “fair” by Dr. Schlabach.
