Age 96, Sterling, Va.
Margaret Juanita Mellott, 96, of Sterling, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at Shenandoah Senior Living in Front Royal. She was born on August 3, 1928, and was the daughter of the late Elias and Adele (née Kaim) Habib.
She is survived by sons Adrian Rosati of Linden and Michael Rosati (wife Ruthie) of Luray. She is also survived by grandsons Clayton, Wesley, Philip, Matthew and Kevin Rosati; three great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews and their extended families. Margaret was preceded in death by her son, Albert Rosati; and two husbands, Adrian Rosati and Sieber (Sonny) Mellott.
Her passing also follows the loss of her beloved siblings and their spouses before her: William (Evelyene) Habib, Mary (Richard) Ellis, Moe (Helen) Habib, Evelyn (Philip) Genua, Yvonne (Fred) Zamer, and Sam (Pat) Habib.
Margaret lived a full and rich life. She had a deep and abiding faith, a loving and generous heart, and a flexible but formidible spirit. Her family was her world and she nurtured and cherished each relationship within it. She enjoyed a life of longstanding friendships, the fun of being a part of a large and close family, and the confidence that comes with being at peace with oneself.
A funeral mass and celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 21, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Saint John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 8908 Old Branch Avenue, Clinton, MD 20735, with Father Dan Leary presiding. Interment will be private.
Arrangements are being handled by The Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, Va.
