HISTORY-Lee highway builders

July 2, 1891 — The harvest is an abundant one, and of the best quality. 

There is a very large cherry crop, and of most all kinds of fruit. 

Mr. Gilbert Long will soon have his house ready for occupancy. 

Mr. Benton Shenk has moved from Stanley to his new house at Marksville. 

Col. T.J. McSpeiden has moved his family to Stanley to spend the summer. 

Misses Laura and May Green, of Front Royal, are visiting their sister, Mrs. Buracker, at Stanley. 

T.S. Brown, Esq., has a planer at Stanley dressing lumber for another new house, which he intends to build at once. 

The bark wagons are busy hauling bark for the Tannery at Luray. 

Last Saturday was court day at Stanley, and there was a large attendance. 

A new school house will be built at Stanley for the Rev. B.B. White to occupy.
