Mary Denise Riley, 49, of Sanford, N.C., passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, N.C.
She was born on February 26, 1976, in Alexandria, VA, and was a daughter of the late Kenneth Phillips and Lynda Potter Clark.
On March 6, 1999, she married Charles Roland Riley Jr., who died on September 10, 2018.
Mary is survived by a daughter, Lynda Riley of Sanford, N.C.; and two sons, Charles Roland Riley III and William Aaron Riley, both of Sanford, N.C.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at the Antioch Independent Bible Church in Luray.
A funeral service will be conducted at the church at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, by Pastor Alan Jones. Burial will be in the Riley Family Cemetery in Luray.
Arrangements are being handled by The Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, Va.
