August 2, 1991 — Citing a newly purchased vocational school, a mandated landfill and school construction projects as financial woes, the Page County Board of Supervisors voted recently to place a meals tax on the November ballot. This is the third time in four years the proposed tax has been put to a referendum. The tax would generate an estimated $500,000 for the county each year, according to County Administrator Ron Wilson.
