Page Valley News highlights adoptable pets
from the Page County Animal Shelter to showcase their personality.
This is Frank (‘n Beans)!
Frank came to us as an owner surrender, but he was a mostly outdoor cat and so he had little human interaction. He has some “catitude” especially when first meeting us, but he’s slowly opening up his heart to us. He cutely meows when you enter the room and loudly purrs with gentle pets.
Frank has a likely chronic condition known as stomatitis, which causes his mouth to hurt him when eating. This is likely why he has been so reclusive at first, but he is on medication now for it and seems to be feeling much better and happier.
Despite his reserved nature, there’s a quiet charm about Frank that draws people in, and those who are patient enough to earn his trust find a loyal companion with a heart full of quiet affection.
