Page Valley News highlights adoptable pets
from the Page County Animal Shelter to showcase their personality.
This is Jacob…
Jacob came to the shelter as a stray and is about 2 years old. He has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
Jacob is full of playful energy and is always ready for his next adventure. True to his breed, he loves to explore the world with his nose and would make a fantastic companion for an active family who enjoys walks, hikes, or backyard playtime.
Jacob absolutely thrives on attention. He’ll happily soak up all the pets, belly rubs, and praise you can give. His sweet, affectionate nature makes him a fast favorite with everyone he meets. He’s the kind of dog who bonds closely with his people and just wants to be part of the action.
Because he gets so excited to see his friends, Jacob sometimes jumps for joy or can be a bit mouthy in a puppy-like way — no biting, just something he’s already improving on with training. With a little consistent guidance, he’ll quickly learn to keep all four paws on the floor.
He’s smart and eager to please, which will make training both fun and rewarding.
